Specialist Security Platform – Emirati Talent

About the role

EDGE’s Advanced Concepts division is seeking a Specialist Security Platform Engineer to join its high‑technology autonomous systems team in Abu Dhabi. You will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining a suite of cybersecurity platforms that protect cutting‑edge unmanned aerial systems and precision munitions.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, upgrade, and harden cybersecurity platforms (SIEM, EDR, DLP, IAM, IDS/IPS).
• Integrate and manage log collection, normalization, and ingestion into SIEM solutions.
• Tune detection rules, optimize performance, and troubleshoot platform and log‑flow issues.
• Maintain CMDB, documentation, and standard configurations aligned with NIST SP 800‑53 and SP 800‑171.
• Support cybersecurity analysts with log visibility, incident investigations, and audit evidence.
• Coordinate with systems and network teams to onboard new log sources and security tools.
• Oversee patching, configuration management, and lifecycle activities for all security platforms.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or platform administration.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk or QRadar.
• Experience in classified or high‑security environments is a plus.
