Specialist – Smart Gas Systems

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Specialist in Smart Gas Systems to design, implement and optimise advanced gas infrastructure technologies. The role focuses on smart monitoring, safety solutions and AI‑driven analytics within gas networks.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain smart gas systems and related infrastructure.
• Manage and optimise SCADA systems for real‑time gas network monitoring and control.
• Deploy telemetry and remote‑sensing solutions, including gas leak detection technologies.
• Support smart‑metering and NB‑IoT integration projects.
• Apply AI‑based analytics for predictive maintenance and performance optimisation.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of experience in smart gas systems or related fields.
• Hands‑on experience with SCADA, telemetry and data acquisition systems.
• Background in gas safety technologies and leak detection.
• Exposure to IoT, smart metering and AI‑based solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Instrumentation, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent).
