Specialist Vascular Surgeon – Abu Dhabi Urgent Hiring

About the role

A leading internationally accredited healthcare provider in the UAE is seeking a Specialist Vascular Surgeon to join its multidisciplinary surgical team. Key responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and manage arterial, venous and peripheral vascular conditions.
• Perform vascular surgical procedures such as angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, varicose vein treatments and vascular access creation.
• Conduct pre‑operative assessments, obtain informed consent and develop treatment plans.
• Provide post‑operative care, monitor for complications and ensure optimal clinical outcomes.
• Collaborate with interventional radiology, cardiology, general surgery, oncology, nephrology, emergency and critical care teams.

Required profile

• Board‑certified or equivalent specialist qualification in Vascular Surgery (e.g., American Board, UK CCT/FRCS, European Board, Royal College, Australian FRACS, Arab Board, MD/MS/DNB/FCPS).
• Strong clinical judgement with a commitment to evidence‑based practice and patient safety.
• Excellent communication skills for culturally diverse patients and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to adapt to UAE healthcare regulations, documentation standards and hospital governance.
• Interest in long‑term career development within a premium UAE healthcare setting.

Required skills

• Vascular surgical procedures: angioplasty, stenting, thrombectomy, varicose vein surgery, vascular access creation.
• Interpretation of diagnostic imaging: Doppler ultrasound, CT angiography and other vascular investigations.
• Management of peripheral arterial disease, venous disease, aneurysms and vascular occlusive disorders.
