Staff Nurse – Operation Theatre

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Staff Nurse to join our Operation Theatre team in Ajman. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality patient care throughout the pre‑operative, intra‑operative and post‑operative phases, ensuring strict compliance with clinical standards and safety protocols.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operation theatre and all equipment before, during and after surgical procedures.
• Assist the surgical team by providing instruments, supplies and support throughout operations.
• Monitor patients’ vital signs and deliver appropriate nursing care during surgery.
• Enforce infection‑control measures and sterilisation protocols at all times.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and patient records.
• Educate patients and families on post‑operative care and recovery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
• Valid nursing licence (MOH/DHA/HAAD) or eligibility.
• Minimum two years of experience in operation‑theatre nursing.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, equipment and sterile techniques.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
