Staff Security Architect

About the role

Payward’s Kraken Security Labs is looking for a hands‑on Senior Security Architect to design and verify robust security architecture across a heterogeneous environment. You will work closely with engineering teams worldwide, embedding security expertise into product development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, review and verify security architecture for diverse platforms, including blockchain, web3, Rust‑based services and AI products.
• Conduct thorough security assessments and audits of existing architectures, recommending practical improvements.
• Stay updated on the latest blockchain security trends, threats and mitigation techniques.
• Provide expert guidance to blockchain teams to ensure secure operational practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience as an IT security expert with a strong background in application security.
• Hands‑on experience in security testing of diverse applications and infrastructure.
• Familiarity with security frameworks such as OWASP and NIST.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced, remote environment.
