Stakeholder Manager

About the role

GHD is expanding its Abu Dhabi team and seeks a dynamic Stakeholder Manager to lead engagement initiatives across the region. The role ensures alignment between business objectives and stakeholder expectations, fostering collaboration and trust with government, semi‑government entities, clients, and internal teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stakeholder engagement and maintain consistent written and verbal communication with government and semi‑government entities.
• Facilitate project‑level permitting and approvals, obtaining necessary NOCs and regulatory clearances.
• Coordinate with Business Group leadership to ensure smooth liaison and management of stakeholder relationships.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of regulatory requirements and planning processes.
• Monitor progress of drawings and documentation, ensuring timely delivery of required documents.
• Liaise with authorities on technical queries, participate in design meetings, and recommend improvements.
• Prepare weekly and monthly reports on stakeholder interactions and technical issues.
• Update stakeholder registers as roles and requirements evolve throughout the programme.

Required profile

• Proven experience in stakeholder management, communications, or relationship management.
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work closely with cross‑functional teams and external agencies.
