Steward – Hotel Kitchen Support

About the role

Stewards provide essential support across hotel kitchen and dining areas, ensuring cleanliness, proper equipment operation, and smooth service flow. This full‑time position involves handling linen, dishware, and basic food preparation in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize linen, dishware, and kitchen utensils, operating dishwashing machines and hand‑wash stations.
• Maintain and service cleaning equipment, reporting any maintenance needs to management.
• Transport dishware and supplies between kitchen, food‑and‑beverage outlets, and employee dining areas.
• Follow safety, security, and hygiene policies, completing required training and certifications.
• Present a professional appearance, welcome guests courteously, and uphold quality standards.

Required profile

• No formal education required; high school diploma or GED not mandatory.
• No prior experience or supervisory background needed.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift up to 25 lb and perform repetitive tasks.
