Storekeeper

About the role

The Storekeeper will maintain an automated supply inventory database, ensuring accurate records of materials, supplies and equipment. This role supports the medical device and pharmaceutical operations by monitoring stock levels, generating reports and coordinating re‑order activities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform operational duties in ordering, receiving, storing, inventory, shipping and record keeping.
• Utilise inventory count policies to verify accuracy and optimise storage space.
• Store goods according to standard and supplier regulations, handling expiry dates and special storage requirements.
• Process timely receipt of goods, enter data into the system and prepare/expedite orders.
• Manage freight claims, shortages, breakages, duplicate shipments and back‑orders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a medical device, pharmaceutical or similar industry.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow inventory policies.
• Good organisational skills for handling stock levels and expiry monitoring.

• Experience with inventory database systems.
