About the role
Etihad Airways is seeking a Strategic Account Manager to lead its cargo commercial and operational strategy across the Mediterranean and CIS markets. You will guide the in‑source team, set objectives, and drive performance to maximise revenue, load factor and product mix.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with GHA/Cargo Terminal to deliver quality service and meet EYCC standards.
- Use KPI and SLA tools to monitor compliance and service levels.
- Participate in budgeting, ensure zero bad debt and full CASS compliance.
- Implement iCargo, self‑service solutions, direct booking and E‑Airway Bill capabilities.
- Develop and execute country, area and account plans to grow Etihad Cargo revenue.
- Manage a portfolio of customer contracts following Etihad’s segmentation model.
- Coach, motivate and measure the performance of sales, reservations and customer service teams.
- Collect market intelligence, provide feedback to HQ and devise strategies to overcome obstacles.
Required profile
- Minimum diploma or bachelor’s degree (2+ years of study).
- At least 7 years of cargo market experience, with strong knowledge of the Mediterranean and CIS regions.
- Fluent written and spoken English.
- Proven commercial cargo experience and basic knowledge of GHA/warehouse handling.
