About the role
Etihad Airways is seeking a Business Development Manager to drive new revenue streams and expand market presence across the designated region. The role focuses on identifying opportunities, shaping strategic agreements, and ensuring the company meets its sales and revenue targets.
Key responsibilities
- Lead business development initiatives to grow income sources and market share.
- Research and analyse product, competitor, and market data to define growth strategies.
- Represent Etihad within the region, acting as the primary commercial liaison.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders and head office to manage reporting, administration, and revenue‑generating activities.
- Monitor, measure, and report on marketing and sales promotion performance.
- Develop and implement sales plans, set targets, and manage channel strategies.
- Build and maintain relationships with travel agencies, corporate clients, and governmental authorities.
- Ensure compliance with local regulations and collaborate on joint negotiations with partners.
Required profile
- Minimum Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 7 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related commercial field.
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and expanding market presence.
- Strong analytical abilities and experience with market research.
