Strategic Partnerships Manager

About the role

The Strategic Partnerships Manager will lead the development, management and evaluation of partnerships for the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy (AGDA), supporting its mission to educate future foreign policy leaders.

Key responsibilities

• Identify partnership opportunities aligned with AGDA’s priorities and assess potential partners.
• Design new partnerships, propose terms, and obtain leadership approval.
• Study peer institutions’ partnership models and apply best practices.
• Draft agreements and memoranda of understanding with legal counsel and relevant departments.
• Support negotiations alongside the Advisor for Strategic Affairs.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all agreements and partnerships.
• Evaluate partnership outcomes with departments to ensure ongoing relevance.
• Serve as the primary liaison with partners, overseeing visits and delegations.
• Prepare leadership for partner meetings and document agreements.
• Brief leadership on hosts and counterparts before engagements.
• Collaborate with the Advisor for Strategic Communications on partnership announcements.
• Develop partnership expertise among national colleagues and define proposal and approval processes across AGDA.
