Team Leader - Accounts Receivable

About the role

Sanad Aerotech is hiring a Team Leader for its Accounts Receivable function in Abu Dhabi. The role oversees invoicing, collections and reconciliation so that payments are timely and accurate, and supports profitability tracking, margin reporting and estimation reviews. It also leads working capital optimization and financial risk management, and drives automation and efficiency improvements across AR operations.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee accurate and timely invoicing in line with company policies, contracts and regulations.
• Validate invoices with commercial teams, follow up on overdue payments and resolve discrepancies.
• Reconcile customer accounts and keep records up to date under financial and tax regulations.
• Work with commercial, sales, operations and finance teams to optimise AR strategy and profitability tracking.
• Support tendering teams with financial insights on pricing, contracts and payment terms.
• Monitor AR metrics such as Days Sales Outstanding (DSO) and enforce internal controls and delegation of authority frameworks.
• Lead internal audits, risk assessments and liaise with auditors and regulators; keep audit-ready documentation.
• Drive process and system improvements, including AR automation and ERP integrations, and protect data accuracy, integrity and security.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, Commerce or a related field; a Master's (MBA/Finance) is preferred.
• Certification such as CMA, CA, ACCA or CPA is mandatory; additional certifications in credit, treasury or financial risk management are an advantage.
• At least 7 years of experience in accounts receivable, credit control or financial operations, including invoice management, collections, reconciliation and risk mitigation.
• 1 to 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Experience in fast-paced corporate or multinational environments is preferred.
