Structural Engineer – Aluminum Facade

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Structural Engineer to lead the design, analysis and engineering of aluminum façade systems. You will ensure curtain walls, glazing, cladding, windows, doors and related support structures are safe, code‑compliant and ready for fabrication and installation.

Key responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for aluminium façade components, including curtain walls, skylights, louvers and cladding.
• Prepare detailed calculations for profiles, mullions, transoms, steel reinforcements, brackets, anchors and connections.
• Assess design loads such as wind, dead, live and thermal movements and verify deflection, stress and stability.
• Coordinate with façade designers, BIM modelers, architects and other engineers to resolve design issues.
• Review and approve shop drawings, fabrication drawings and installation details.
• Provide technical support to the factory and site teams during fabrication and installation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE authority requirements, international standards and project specifications.

Required profile

• Experienced Structural Engineer with a focus on aluminium and façade systems.
• Proven ability to produce accurate structural calculations and technical documentation.
• Strong coordination skills with multidisciplinary design teams.

Required skills

• Structural analysis and design of aluminium façade elements.
• Preparation of structural calculation reports.
• Knowledge of UAE building codes and relevant international standards.
• BIM coordination and review of architectural/structural drawings.
• Understanding of fabrication and installation processes for curtain walls and related components.
