Structures Deputy Discipline Manager

About the role

Subsea 7 is looking for a Structures Deputy Discipline Manager to develop and lead the Structures discipline across the Middle East. The role supports the Global Projects Centre, ensuring technical competence for studies, tenders and project execution while promoting a strong HSEQ culture.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and implement GPC engineering standards, processes, tools and digitalisation within the region.
• Manage discipline services and resources to support projects, tenders and studies.
• Act as the daily technical contact for projects and tenders, providing support to other regions.
• Ensure compliance with engineering policies, industry codes, standards, client specifications and design guides.
• Identify, mitigate and manage technical risks and participate in project reviews.
• Maintain safety by following Safety‑in‑Design best practices.
• Contribute to knowledge management by sharing lessons learned and best practices.
• Support recruitment in line with the global resource plan.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in subsea or structural engineering projects, preferably within the Middle East.
• Ability to work collaboratively across regions and disciplines.
• Commitment to HSEQ standards and continuous improvement.
