Student Accessibility Services Manager

About the role

The Student Accessibility Services Manager leads the department that supports students with special educational needs across Zayed University. The role oversees program development, staff coordination and ensures compliance with disability legislation while promoting an inclusive campus culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement short‑ and long‑term plans aligned with the university’s strategic vision for special education.
• Design, launch and manage programs and services that address identified student needs, including new initiatives.
• Provide SEN assessments, create individual educational plans and advise faculty on curriculum adaptations.
• Coordinate professional workshops on accessibility for faculty, staff and external schools.
• Prepare and manage the department’s annual budget and generate regular reports.
• Maintain compliance with UAE disability laws and act as liaison between students, faculty and external partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in School or Clinical Psychology (or equivalent) from an accredited institution.
• Minimum 8 years of experience working with students with special educational needs.
• Licensed psychologist (school or clinical) covering learning difficulties.
• Willingness to travel between Abu Dhabi and Dubai as required.
