Studio Director – Architecture & Interiors

About the role

A global leader in luxury hospitality design, known for award-winning interiors for prestigious hotel brands, is establishing a new hospitality-focused studio in Dubai through its Dubai studio. The studio aims to grow across the EMEA region and is looking for an experienced Studio Director to lead its creative, operational and commercial direction. The role combines hands-on design with team management and business development.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design direction across architecture and interiors from concept to completion
• Oversee masterplans, sketches, mood boards and design proposals
• Build, mentor and manage a growing team of designers
• Lead client-facing work such as design pitches, presentations and strategic discussions
• Develop new business opportunities and expand the client base across EMEA
• Stay ahead of trends, innovations and sustainable design practices in hospitality

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
• 15+ years of experience in hospitality design, including masterplanning, architecture and interiors
• Proven ability to manage and mentor multidisciplinary design teams
• Strong portfolio of high-profile hospitality projects
• Demonstrated experience in business development and client relationship management
• Previous experience working in the Middle East is essential
• Fluent in English with excellent communication and presentation skills
