Subject Matter Expert – Retail Trade & Store Operations (English/Arabic, GCC) – Remote

About the role

Lilt is seeking an experienced retail professional to join its AI benchmarking project as a Subject Matter Expert. You will work remotely, creating and reviewing realistic retail scenarios in both Modern Standard Arabic and English for GCC‑based stores and consumer‑facing environments.

Key responsibilities

• Design authentic retail trade scenarios covering store operations, customer service, inventory, pharmacy workflows, loss prevention, and multi‑branch coordination.
• Adapt and refine evaluation rubrics for operational problem‑solving, compliance, and customer interaction tasks.
• Review AI‑generated and human‑generated responses for factual accuracy, policy compliance, and operational realism.
• Contribute to “gold‑standard” reference solutions that reflect best practices across GCC retail and pharmacy sectors.

Required profile

• Native‑level proficiency in Modern Standard Arabic and strong professional English.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in retail, store operations, pharmacy operations, commercial management, loss prevention, or related fields.
• Background in roles such as retail sales supervision, store/operations management, pharmacy operations, retail security, or multi‑branch retail management.
• Deep understanding of GCC retail environments, customer service workflows, compliance procedures, and inventory management.
