Summer Internship - Corporate Finance (2027)

About the role

FTI Consulting, a global expert firm for organizations facing crisis and transformation, is offering a 10-week summer internship in its Corporate Finance & Restructuring practice in Dubai. The practice delivers restructuring, valuations and tax advisory solutions to banks, private equity, sovereign wealth and corporate clients, covering acquisitions, disposals and stressed situations. The internship runs from 14 June to 20 August 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with the preparation of new business proposals
• Carry out research and analysis to support client engagements and internal projects
• Summarize key information and perform analytical reviews
• Attend internal and external meetings and draft clear, concise meeting minutes
• Prepare data books and financial models using Excel, and analyze financial and operational data with the team
• Help prepare client reports and deliverables using PowerPoint
• Take part in internal training sessions and complete relevant eLearning modules

Required profile

• Penultimate-year university student graduating in 2028
• Available for the full 10-week internship from 14 June to 20 August 2027
• Interest in working in Restructuring, Valuations or Tax advisory
• Good understanding of financial statements and accounting principles

Preferred skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Clear verbal and written communication
• Ability to work independently and in a team, and to think on your feet under pressure

The application process ends on 19 November 2026: online application and CV, then a numerical, logical and verbal reasoning test, a recorded video interview, two virtual competency-based interviews with senior managers, and offers by the end of February 2027. Interns are supported by a performance coach and a buddy.
