Supply Chain Manager

About the role

A reputable manufacturing company in Abu Dhabi is seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead and optimise end‑to‑end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory control.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a comprehensive supply chain strategy covering procurement, logistics, warehousing and inventory control.
• Build and maintain a robust network of local and international suppliers to ensure reliable, cost‑efficient sourcing.
• Manage end‑to‑end procurement processes, including supplier sourcing, evaluation, negotiation and contract administration.
• Coordinate with production planning to guarantee timely material availability.
• Establish and optimise inventory management systems, overseeing stock control, warehouse operations and material handling.
• Oversee inbound and outbound logistics, coordinating with freight forwarders and service providers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE import/export regulations and proper documentation.
• Support ERP implementation and configuration for supply chain functions.
• Develop and enforce supply chain policies, KPIs and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead, mentor and develop teams across procurement, warehousing and logistics.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of supply chain management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Proven track record building or improving supply chain operations, preferably in high‑growth settings.
• Strong commercial awareness and cost‑control expertise.
• UAE/GCC experience preferred.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong background in procurement, sourcing and supplier negotiation.
