Supply Chain Team Lead - ESG

About the role

Descon Engineering’s Industrial Services Division is seeking a Supply Chain Team Lead to drive ESG initiatives across its supply chain. The role will integrate sustainability practices, ensure supplier compliance, and support the SAP S/4HANA transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct ESG and sustainability assessments for suppliers and subcontractors.
• Implement and monitor the Supplier Code of Conduct.
• Track sustainability KPIs, manage compliance data, and coordinate corrective actions.
• Collect and report GHG emissions and other sustainability metrics from suppliers.
• Support supplier risk, due‑diligence, and governance activities.
• Assist in green procurement initiatives and supplier engagement.
• Participate in SCM process mapping, data readiness, testing, and SAP S/4HANA implementation activities.
• Collaborate with SCM, Projects, Corporate, and ERP teams during the transformation.

Required profile

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.
• 5–12 years of experience in supply chain, procurement or subcontracting within Oil & Gas, EPC or industrial services.
• Strong understanding of ESG, sustainable procurement and supplier governance.
• Hands‑on exposure to SAP S/4HANA implementation or migration projects is highly preferred.
• Experience in supplier performance, compliance, data management and reporting.
