Support Engineer (Remote, UAE)

About the role

We’re looking for an experienced Support Engineer to join our team and own the technical and functional customer support experience end-to-end. This role sits at the intersection of technical support, engineering, and customer success.

Key responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for customers via email, chat, and phone, quickly understanding their needs.
• Own, prioritize, and troubleshoot complex technical issues, providing effective solutions.
• Serve as a knowledge source on Sardine’s risk and payment platform, APIs, SDKs, and web‑stack technologies.
• Create tools and documentation to help customers and the team become more self‑sufficient.
• Collaborate with internal engineering teams to resolve and prevent issues across the API‑driven platform.

Required profile

• 5+ years in technical support, support engineering, solutions engineering, or software engineering.
• Fluent English with strong communication skills.
• Strong understanding of web technologies, APIs, and cloud infrastructure.
• Proficiency with SQL, including joins and multi‑table queries.
• Experience with REST APIs and tools such as Postman.
• Ability to work independently and handle high‑pressure situations.
• Experience supporting B2B SaaS products, preferably in fintech or compliance environments.
