Swimming Pool Technician

About the role

Accor is looking for a detail‑oriented Swimming Pool Technician to join its team in Ras Al‑Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. You will ensure the pool area meets the highest standards of water quality, safety, and guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and adjust water chemistry (pH, chlorine, alkalinity, etc.) using testing kits and analytical equipment.
• Perform daily cleaning of pool surfaces, decks, and surrounding areas.
• Inspect, service, and troubleshoot filtration systems, pumps, and related mechanical equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of water tests, chemical treatments, equipment maintenance, and repairs.
• Operate chlorination and water‑treatment systems in line with safety regulations.
• Identify equipment malfunctions, carry out repairs or coordinate with maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and environmental regulations for aquatic facilities.
• Conduct regular equipment inspections and preventive maintenance to minimise downtime.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests and manage chemical, supply, and parts inventory.

Required profile

• Proven experience in pool maintenance, water treatment, or aquatic facility operations.
• Strong knowledge of pool chemistry and water‑quality management.
• Ability to read and interpret water‑testing results and chemical analysis.
• Familiarity with pool safety standards and relevant regulations.
• Excellent organisational and record‑keeping abilities.
• Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail.
• Capability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift equipment as required.
