System Engineer – OpenText ITOM

About the role

We are seeking a System Engineer to design, implement and maintain OpenText ITOM solutions for our clients in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on integrating NNMi and NA tools, automating monitoring processes and ensuring high‑availability of network operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy OpenText NOM solutions based on client requirements.
• Integrate NNMi and NA tools, including LDAP and Optic Data Lake components.
• Create, customize and automate network monitoring reports.
• Develop and execute scripts for automation and integration with other IT management tools.
• Provide training, documentation and support to end‑users and stakeholders.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues and implement security controls.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of OpenText upgrades and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• 4–6 years of experience with NNMi, NA and OpenText ITOM administration.
• Proven ability to gather requirements, design solutions and manage scope‑of‑work deliverables.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
