The role combines systems architecture, interface management and multidisciplinary engineering leadership to ensure interoperability, RF coexistence and reliable system performance. It covers integration planning, verification and validation, and system-level troubleshooting, with coordination of cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Lead the definition of the end-to-end integration architecture combining the NEMUS radar suite, EW systems, C2 and additional sensors across naval, ground vehicle and airborne/UAS platforms.
- Define and maintain system-level requirements, functional architecture, Interface Control Documents (ICDs) and technical baselines for each platform variant.
- Analyze and resolve coexistence issues between radar and EW subsystems (RF spectrum overlap, EMI/EMC, antenna placement, shared power and cooling).
- Define and manage interfaces between radar, EW, C2 and other onboard sensors (EO/IR, direction-finding, navigation, IFF, AIS, etc.).
- Lead multidisciplinary integration activities across RF, network/software, C2 and electromechanical disciplines.
- Own the integration plan and schedule, coordinating RF, network/software, C2 and electromechanical engineers and installation technicians.
- Define verification and validation plans, acceptance criteria and verification matrices; lead FAT, SAT, qualification campaigns, demonstrations and field trials.
- Lead system-level troubleshooting and root-cause analysis, and represent engineering in technical reviews, customer meetings, demonstrations and deployments.
- Prepare and maintain engineering documentation including requirements, architecture, ICDs, verification matrices, test plans, test reports and technical assessments.
Required profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, Systems, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in systems engineering or systems integration of radar, EW, C2 or other mission-critical sensor systems.
- Experience integrating multi-sensor systems onto naval, ground-vehicle or airborne/UAS platforms.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary technical teams and driving issues to resolution.
- English proficiency required.
Required skills
- Strong understanding of radar and EW subsystem architecture and RF coexistence between co-located sensors and effectors.
- C2/C4ISR system integration; familiarity with C2 or comparable defense C2 systems is a strong plus.
- Requirements engineering, interface management and system-level integration testing.
- Verification, validation, qualification, FAT/SAT and performance assessment.
- Familiarity with RF and electronic test equipment (spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, signal generators, power meters).
- Structured engineering and customer-facing technical documentation.
