Systems Specialist - VMware & Microsoft 365

About the role

Miral Experiences, which manages and operates immersive attractions in Abu Dhabi such as Ferrari World, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros. World, SeaWorld, CLYMB and TeamLab, is looking for an experienced Systems Specialist to join its Technology Operations team. The role covers the administration, operation, monitoring and continuous improvement of on-premise IT infrastructure, with a strong focus on VMware and Microsoft 365.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain enterprise VMware infrastructure and associated technologies.
• Administer and support Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive).
• Manage Windows and Linux servers, Active Directory, domain and file servers, and SCCM, SCOM and Microsoft Intune.
• Handle server hardware, storage and OS infrastructure, and perform patching and maintenance.
• Support endpoint security (AV, EDR, email filtering), proxy and reverse proxy infrastructure, and backup and disaster recovery.
• Monitor availability, performance and capacity, troubleshoot issues and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Use PowerShell and automation tools, support security assessments and vulnerability management, and maintain system inventories.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of systems administration experience; UAE experience strongly preferred.
• Strong hands-on VMware and Microsoft 365 experience.
• Experience with Windows Server, Active Directory and on-premise infrastructure; SCCM, SCOM and Intune preferred.
• Knowledge of PowerShell or other automation tools, and good understanding of infrastructure security, vulnerability management and identity management.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
