About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which brings together more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels, 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a tailor in Dubai. The tailor keeps the hotel's uniforms and fabric items in good condition and handles guest clothing alterations.

Key responsibilities

• Alter, repair and adjust Heartist uniforms so they fit well and look presentable
• Repair and maintain hotel linen, curtains, tablecloths and other fabric items
• Handle guest clothing alterations and repairs carefully and within the required timeframe
• Operate and maintain sewing machines and tailoring equipment safely
• Monitor tailoring supplies and make sure materials are used efficiently
• Keep the work area clean and organised while following hotel quality and safety standards

Required profile

• At least 1-2 years of tailoring experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
• Good attention to detail and quality workmanship
• Basic English communication skills
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively and meet deadlines

• Handling different fabrics
• Operating industrial and domestic sewing machines
