Tanker Operation Supervisor (NE)

About the role

The Tanker Operation Supervisor will plan, execute and supervise daily marine operations of ADNOC Distribution's tanker fleet, ensuring safe cargo handling and compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with ship masters, supervise day‑to‑day tanker operations, and verify reports and logbooks for safety and compliance.
• Plan voyages, monitor vessel performance, manage discharge orders, and control system transactions in the ERP system.
• Administer ship vetting/inspection, liaise with legal, insurance, customers, terminal operators and ports to ensure smooth operations.
• Supervise on‑shore and off‑shore staff, handling performance management, recruitment, training and development.
• Ensure ships comply with international, flag state and company standards, including hull and deck maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma or higher in a related field; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in oil terminal operations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of marine operations, cargo handling standards and international regulations.
• Familiarity with ERP systems for transaction processing.
