Tax Manager – Emerging Markets (Dubai)

About the role

Deloitte Middle East is seeking an experienced Tax Manager to lead its Emerging Markets team in Dubai. The role focuses on driving business development and establishing strategic partnerships across key emerging markets such as Iraq, Libya, and selected African countries.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand the firm’s presence in targeted emerging markets.
• Identify new business opportunities and establish partnerships aligned with growth objectives.
• Lead market research initiatives to inform business‑development strategies and identify potential clients.
• Build and maintain robust relationships with existing and prospective clients, ensuring high‑quality service delivery.
• Collaborate with internal tax, legal and consulting teams to deliver commercially sound solutions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in tax advisory or related professional services, preferably with exposure to emerging markets.
• Strong business‑development track record and ability to generate new revenue streams.
• Excellent relationship‑building and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Deep understanding of tax regulations in the Middle East and selected African jurisdictions.
• Fluent English; Arabic is an advantage.
