Tax Technology & Transformation Senior Associate

About the role

The Senior Associate in Tax Technology & Transformation will work client‑facing on tax transformation and technology engagements across corporate tax, indirect tax and accounting compliance. The role involves preparing data, building analysis, supporting solution configuration, testing and producing documentation to enable client adoption.

Key responsibilities

• Support requirements gathering, document scenarios and acceptance criteria, and translate them into structured artifacts.
• Extract, validate and reconcile data using SQL; create repeatable workflows in Alteryx for data cleaning and transformation.
• Develop dashboards and reporting outputs with Tableau, ensuring metrics are accurate and refreshable.
• Assist eInvoicing and VAT reporting activities, including data readiness, field validation and testing.
• Prepare SIT/UAT assets, test scripts, defect logs and support deployment readiness and hyper‑care.
• Support AI/GenAI use cases by preparing validation datasets, defining acceptance criteria and validating outputs.

Required profile

• 2+ years experience in consulting or industry roles involving tax data, finance reporting, analytics or technology‑enabled process improvement.
• Working knowledge of corporate and indirect tax compliance reporting requirements.
• Ability to travel across MENA for workshops and delivery milestones.

Required skills

• SQL for data extraction and validation.
• Alteryx for data preparation and workflow automation.
• Tableau for analytics and dashboard creation.
• Awareness of AI/GenAI support in tax use cases.
