Teacher - Social Studies

About the role

Aldar Education is seeking an outstanding Teacher for UAE Social Studies for the academic year 27/28. The role involves delivering engaging lessons aligned with the English National Curriculum and supporting student progress.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver inspiring Social Studies lessons for a mixed‑ability classroom.
• Collaborate with colleagues to design curriculum‑aligned activities and assess student progress using Target Tracker.
• Maintain effective communication with parents, support staff and external professionals.
• Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policy and act as a positive role model.
• Participate in curriculum action groups, school events and extracurricular activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification.
• 1‑2 years of teaching experience, preferably with EAL learners.
• Strong professionalism, commitment to child welfare and ability to work collaboratively.
• Clean enhanced DBS/police check.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the English National Curriculum.
• Ability to use assessment data to inform planning and intervention.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.
