Team Lead Tax & Compliance – Europe

About the role

Vanderlande is seeking a Finance Team Lead for Tax & Compliance Europe to lead the regional tax team and ensure a robust, compliant tax framework across its European operations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop the Europe Tax & Compliance team.
• Oversee corporate income tax, VAT, withholding tax and related compliance activities.
• Coordinate transfer pricing compliance and documentation.
• Act as primary contact for tax authorities, auditors and external advisors.
• Identify, manage and mitigate tax risks, translating legislative changes into practical guidance.
• Drive standardisation, process improvement and sustainability of tax controls.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Tax, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Minimum 8 years of tax/compliance experience in an international environment.
• Proven leadership or team‑coaching experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Fluent English, both written and spoken.
