Team Leader - Front Office

About the role

The Front Office Team Leader will oversee daily shift operations at Hyatt Centric Jumeirah Dubai, ensuring every guest receives the Hyatt brand promise of exceptional service. You will act as a role model, fostering a positive environment while maintaining high standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise Front Office activities during assigned shifts, from check‑in to check‑out.
• Welcome guests, anticipate needs, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.
• Handle guest and internal inquiries, complaints, and special requests, including VIP arrivals and group bookings.
• Maintain accurate guest profiles, reservation details, and room inventory in hotel systems.
• Coordinate with Housekeeping and other departments to ensure seamless operations.
• Support training, coaching, and performance improvement of Front Office staff.
• Promote revenue through upselling of hotel services and facilities.
• Prepare and balance cashier transactions, adhering to financial and cash‑handling policies.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, security, and emergency procedures.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Tourism, Business Administration or related field (preferred).
• Minimum 2 years Front Office experience in a hotel, including supervisory responsibilities.
• Experience with an international hotel brand is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of Front Office operations and guest service standards.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera PMS or a similar property management system.
