Team Leader Semi Solids

About the role

Julphar is seeking a Team Leader for Semi Solids to oversee packaging operations, ensure compliance with cGMP standards, and drive productivity in its Ras Al Khaimah facility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and approve monthly and daily packaging plans to optimise machine and labour utilisation.
• Coordinate material issuance, inventory control, and bulk availability with store, planning, production and QA teams.
• Lead training needs assessment, on‑the‑job training and SOP implementation in collaboration with the Julphar Training Centre.
• Oversee preventive maintenance, equipment qualification, and troubleshooting with maintenance and external suppliers.
• Ensure plant safety, security, and data‑integrity compliance, conducting walkthroughs and gap assessments.
• Validate master packaging instructions, process parameters and in‑process controls, and approve batch documentation before release.

Required profile

• Experience in pharmaceutical packaging operations and inventory management.
• Strong knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and data‑integrity principles.
• Ability to coordinate cross‑functional teams and communicate effectively with sub‑ordinates and superiors.
