Technical Attendant - Golf Course Maintenance

About the role

Viya, the UAE's golf and hospitality group, is hiring a Technical Attendant for its golf course maintenance department in Dubai. The position reports to the Senior Mechanic and supports the maintenance of the machines and equipment used on the golf course, keeping them properly maintained and in safe working condition.

Key responsibilities

• Repair equipment, machines and petrol carts when they break down.
• Carry out monthly servicing of all equipment and petrol carts (oil, filters, etc.).
• Back-lap and grind reel blades and bed knives.
• Adjust the cutting height of mowing machines when needed.
• Perform other tasks as required.
• Take part in club improvement activities, such as committee work (Staff Committee, Green Theme, Food Committee, Sport Committee) and projects.
• Be trained as a Fire Marshall or First Aid responder.
• Apply the 4 Service Steps to serve internal and external customers, in line with the Dubai Golf Mission, Vision and Values.
• Follow information security policies, attend IT awareness sessions and report any security incidents to the IT Service Desk.

Required profile

• Reaching the level of Mechanic I.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar post in a reputable organisation.
• Knowledge of English.
• Teamwork.
