Technical Designer

About the role

The Technical Designer is responsible for delivering accurate technical project work, creating 3D models and detailed 2D drawings for furniture and installations, and supporting various internal departments throughout the project lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Create 3D models and detailed 2D approval drawings for furniture and installations based on client specifications.
• Maintain project timelines, logs of drawing submissions, and ERP data such as BOM and project hours.
• Provide technical support to Estimation, Procurement, Project Management and Key Account teams, and produce workshop drawings for in‑house factories and vendors.
• Assist Procurement and PM departments during material approval, propose value‑engineering options, and conduct site or vendor visits when required.

Required profile

• Technical Design or Engineering degree or equivalent.
• Experience in wood, metal and glass manufacturing within the shopfitting industry.
• Proficiency in high‑level 3D modeling and 2D technical drawing.
