Technical Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Technical Engineer to lead the installation, modification and tie‑in of facility systems and networks. The role involves supervising installation teams, providing day‑to‑day engineering advice and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and execute new installations, modifications and tie‑ins of facility systems and networks.
• Supervise and guide staff during installation, repair and maintenance activities.
• Provide technical engineering advice to team members on a daily basis.
• Determine spare‑part requirements and maintain adequate inventory for maintenance and repairs.
• Prepare technical specifications for equipment, systems or materials and participate in bid evaluation.
• Ensure availability of project equipment according to mobilization plans.
• Monitor project expenditure, prepare cost estimates and justify equipment purchases.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, integrity code, and HSE standards.
• Support welding R&D initiatives and complete assigned actions aligned with strategic goals.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• For welding focus: Welding Inspection Certificate, NDT Level II or III, and NEBOSH certification.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience in similar industrial environments.
