Technical Lead - DevSecOps

About the role

A client of the recruiter is looking for a Technical Lead DevSecOps for a 12-month contract in Dubai, with possible extension. The role covers Kubernetes administration, cluster management, CI/CD pipelines, security and observability.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Significant hands-on experience in DevOps, DevSecOps, Kubernetes engineering or platform engineering.
• Previous experience leading technical teams or driving complex infrastructure implementations.
• Experience supporting production-grade Kubernetes environments and resolving complex technical issues.
• Certifications such as CKA, CKS or CKAD are an advantage.

Required skills

• Kubernetes administration, architecture, troubleshooting and production operations, including RKE2 installation, configuration and upgrades.
• Rancher management and setup, and deployment of the NVIDIA GPU Operator on Kubernetes (preferably on RKE2).
• CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• GitOps with Argo CD or Flux.
• Istio service mesh, mTLS, security policies and observability.
• Docker, containerd and Kubernetes networking; Linux administration, DNS, ingress controllers, storage and TLS certificates.
• Scripting and automation in Python, Bash or similar.
• DevSecOps practices, container security, vulnerability scanning and infrastructure security.
• Prometheus, Grafana and the EFK/ELK stack.
