Technical Operations Engineer – WRSA

About the role

Anduril Industries is building a new simulation centre in Abu Dhabi to deliver advanced wargaming and training solutions for regional partners. The Technical Operations Engineer (TOPS) will join the Air Maneuver Dominance / Advanced Capabilities team, acting as the primary technical liaison between Anduril, EDGE and the Emirati Ministry of Defense.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy and configure integrated hardware‑software solutions for immersive AR/VR wargaming and training events.
• Plan, set up, test, and recover equipment for multi‑day exercises, ensuring seamless operation in field environments.
• Own the installation and operation of Anduril’s AR/VR, gaming engine and mission‑simulation software at demonstrations and customer missions.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on‑site and coordinate follow‑up actions with platform providers.
• Collaborate with Software, Hardware, Logistics, Growth and Engineering teams to streamline processes and accelerate delivery.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience with technical deployments of hardware and software systems in defence or similar high‑stakes environments.
• Strong customer‑facing skills and ability to work closely with military stakeholders.
• Proactive problem‑solver who can identify issues and implement solutions with minimal external support.
• Willingness to work onsite in Abu Dhabi and travel as required for field exercises.
