Technical Pre‑Sales Engineer – Servers & Storage

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Technical Pre‑Sales Engineer specialized in servers and storage to own the technical content of our enterprise infrastructure solutions. You will design, size, and document server and storage components, create Bills of Materials, and ensure compliance throughout the sales cycle.

Key responsibilities

• Engage customers to capture business requirements, workloads, and growth plans, then design server and storage solutions that integrate with virtualization, backup/DR and data‑centre environments.
• Prepare high‑level and low‑level designs, technical specifications, and BOMs; respond to RFPs, RFQs and tenders with accurate technical content and compliance.
• Conduct presentations, demos, workshops and PoCs; act as the technical authority for server and storage throughout the sales process.
• Coordinate with implementation teams to ensure proposed solutions are feasible and correctly handed over for delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering or related field.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with enterprise servers (rack, blade, CPU/memory/IO sizing) and storage (SAN, NAS, all‑flash, hybrid).
• Experience designing multi‑vendor solutions for enterprise, government or defence customers in the UAE.
• Excellent written and verbal English; Arabic is a plus. Valid UAE driving licence and ability to obtain required clearances.

• Backup & Disaster Recovery, Operating Systems (Windows Server, Linux), Data‑centre infrastructure, capacity & performance planning, high availability design.
