Technical Product Manager / Owner - SaaS Regulatory Platform

About the role

The company's SaaS platform deltaconX simplifies regulatory compliance and streamlines transaction reporting, covering regulations such as EMIR, MiFIR, SFTR, FinfraG, MAS, USDF, ASIC, HKMA and REMIT. It is looking for a Technical Product Manager / Owner in Abu Dhabi (Masdar City) to drive the vision, strategy and continuous evolution of the platform. The role sits at the intersection of Product, Engineering, Service Desk and Business stakeholders, combining product ownership with a solid technical understanding of SaaS platforms, integrations, workflows and system dependencies. The earliest start date is 11 January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Define and prioritise business needs to create a business-driven product roadmap that is technically feasible and scalable.
• Translate customer and market needs into functional specifications, workflows, schemas and implementation concepts for Engineering and Product teams.
• Own the product vision, roadmap, positioning and value proposition, and manage the product backlog and roadmap.
• Develop detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, workflows, schemas and supporting documentation.
• Act as liaison between Management, Business Analysts (Service Desk), Development, Release Management and other stakeholders.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Service Desk, Release Management and fellow Product Managers to ensure timely delivery.
• Understand system interactions, data flows, APIs, integrations and technical constraints, and keep up with market trends and regulatory developments.
• Support implementation of certification and compliance standards (e.g. ISO, SOC).

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in SaaS, fintech, regulatory or technically complex environments.
• Experience in strongly regulated industries and understanding of compliance-driven business environments.
• Open to candidates with a strong technical product management background in SaaS or complex software who want to build expertise in regulatory domains; knowledge of EMIR, MiFID/MiFIR or SFTR is desirable but not required.
• Product Owner/Management certification is advantageous.
• Only applicants who are already residents of the UAE will be considered.

Required skills

• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and Agile tools.
• Technical understanding of APIs, integrations, workflows and system architecture.
• Good understanding of SDLC and technical product delivery processes.
• Requirements engineering, solution analysis and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem-solving skills, and ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
