Technical Training Senior Manager

About the role

Miral Experiences is looking for a Technical Training Senior Manager responsible for delivering technical training to its Technical Services colleagues so they can carry out preventive maintenance and inspections relevant to their trades. The role also covers developing and updating training and safety modules, collaborating with management and technical teams, keeping training records and certifications accurate, and supporting the Technical Training Director with the training budget.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and deliver technical training, develop and keep training material (presentations, workbooks) up to date, and coordinate external training
• Identify new or changing training needs, build a training programme, and track training records and certifications
• Update training documents and reports weekly, recommend training solutions to performance challenges, and mentor other trainers
• Maintain a safe training environment, report and resolve maintenance issues, and help manage the training budget and procurement of training materials and tools

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics)
• Recognized trainer experience in the area of expertise (mechanical); minimum 5 years in technical training, at least 3 years in a management role
• Hands-on experience designing, developing and delivering technical training focused on preventive maintenance, safety and compliance
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to teach large groups and give one-on-one sessions
• Desirable: 8+ years in technical training or engineering, trainer experience in more than one area (electrical and mechanical), welding, PLC programming, and LMS proficiency

Required skills

• Industrial hydraulics and electro-hydraulics, precision measurement instruments, and strong mechanical maintenance skills
• Reading technical manuals, drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and schematics
• MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Designing and writing knowledge-based training programmes
