Technical Training Senior Manager

About the role

Miral is looking for a Technical Training Senior Manager in Abu Dhabi. The role delivers technical training to Miral Experiences Technical Services colleagues so they can carry out preventive maintenance and inspections relevant to their trades, and develops and keeps technical and safety training modules up to date. It also involves working regularly with management and technical teams to close training gaps, align training with operational goals and stay compliant with industry standards.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate and deliver technical training and develop and maintain training material such as presentations and workbooks
• Identify new or changing training needs and build a training programme, coordinating external training with areas of responsibility
• Support the administration and tracking of training records and update related documents and reports weekly
• Mentor other trainers on subject matter, content and delivery, and recommend training enhancements for performance challenges
• Keep a safe training environment, report and resolve maintenance issues promptly, and assist the Technical Training Director with the training budget and procurement of training materials, tools and technology

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Mechanical or Mechatronics)
• Recognized trainer experience in the area of expertise (mechanical)
• Minimum 5 years of technical training experience and at least 3 years in a management role, preferably in a technical or training environment
• Hands-on experience designing, developing and delivering technical training focused on preventive maintenance, safety and compliance
• Excellent written and spoken English; able to teach large groups or give one-to-one sessions

Required skills

• Advanced hands-on knowledge of industrial hydraulics and electro-hydraulics
• Proficiency with measuring and metrology instruments and strong mechanical maintenance skills
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, hydraulic/pneumatic circuits and schematics
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Desirable: PLC programming, welding, machining, electrical control circuits, sensors and instrumentation, LMS and simulation tools
