Technical & Warranty Manager

About the role

The Technical & Warranty Manager will lead technical support and warranty operations across Al Futtaim Automotive's Aftersales network in the UAE. The role ensures high repair quality, effective warranty governance, and continuous improvement of technical processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical support and case management, handling complex diagnostics, investigations, escalations and resolutions.
• Oversee warranty claims compliance, monitor rejected/aged claims and drive corrective actions.
• Improve repair quality and Fix It Right performance by analysing repeat repairs and technical trends.
• Coordinate with OEM technical and warranty teams on product‑quality and warranty issues.
• Monitor technical and warranty KPIs, implement continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support technical readiness for new vehicle models and emerging technologies.
• Lead, develop and mentor the Technical and Warranty team while collaborating with Aftersales functions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Automobile, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years automotive Aftersales experience, with at least 3 years in a technical, diagnostic, warranty or operations leadership role.
• Strong automotive diagnostic and root‑cause analysis skills.
• In‑depth knowledge of warranty policies, claims processes and governance.
• Experience in repair quality and Fix It Right management.
• Ability to analyse KPIs and translate insights into actions.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership capabilities.
• Good command of English; UAE driving licence preferred.
