Technician – ACW Runway Sweeper & Rubber Removal Machines

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Technician to operate and maintain a range of airport utility vehicles, including runway sweepers, rubber removal machines, hydro‑blasting equipment and other ground support assets. The position is based at Dubai Airports and plays a critical part in keeping airfield surfaces free of debris and FOD.

Key responsibilities

• Operate runway and road sweepers, litter vacuum machines, hydro‑blasting units and related equipment in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.
• Ensure all airport roadways, car parks, tunnels, fences and apron areas remain clean and free of debris throughout each shift.
• Perform routine inspections, report defects, and conduct end‑of‑shift cleaning of assigned vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety and security regulations, with particular focus on ramp and airside safety rules.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum five years of experience operating similar airport ground equipment.
• Fluent spoken and written English (IELTS or equivalent).
• Valid UAE driving licence (Category 4 and/or 8) and Airside Driving Permit (ADP Level 4).
• Training certificate for heavy equipment operation.
