Technician Electrician

About the role

Rixos Al Mairid is looking for a proactive Electrical Technician to join its Engineering team. The role ensures reliable operation of all electrical systems throughout the hotel, supporting safe and guest‑focused services in line with Rixos standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all electrical installations across the property.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests, troubleshoot faults and repair equipment.
• Support emergency response procedures and ensure compliance with fire and life‑safety regulations.
• Maintain workshop inventory and control of materials.
• Contribute to energy‑saving and sustainability initiatives.

Required profile

• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum three years of experience in a similar role, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
• Good English communication skills and ability to work in a multicultural team.
• Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends and public holidays.
• Physically fit to perform rescues, stand for long periods and work outdoors in varying weather.
