Technician – Material Handling Equipment

About the role

Al-Futtaim Automotive is seeking an experienced Technician to join the Hangcha Dubai team. You will be responsible for maintaining and repairing material handling equipment both in the workshop and on‑site, ensuring high reliability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical repairs, troubleshooting, and diagnostics on material handling equipment.
• Accurately diagnose faults and implement effective, first‑time‑fix solutions.
• Identify potential issues proactively during service visits.
• Follow service manuals, checklists, and standard operating procedures to improve productivity.
• Communicate repair status and progress to the Service Supervisor.
• Provide both workshop and field service support as required.

Required profile

• Trade certificate or diploma in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience servicing material handling equipment, preferably Hangcha.
• Proven ability to work independently on servicing, repairs, and component overhauls.
