Techno-Functional Consultant, D365 F&O (AR/AP)

About the role

BlackStone eIT is hiring a Techno-Functional Consultant for Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) focused on Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable, based in Dubai. The role covers functional configuration of AR and AP, X++ customization, integration with D365 CRM and other systems, and automation with AI agents.

Key responsibilities

• Own the AR and AP modules: customer and vendor setup, posting profiles, payment terms, methods of payment, settlement and number sequences.
• Configure and support Order-to-Cash (free-text invoices, collections, credit management, interest and collection letters, aging) and Procure-to-Pay (vendor invoices, two- and three-way matching, approval workflows, payment proposals).
• Manage bank integration and reconciliation, including electronic payment formats and Advanced Bank Reconciliation.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT (FTA) and prepare the system for the UAE e-invoicing mandate.
• Run requirement workshops with Finance, document business processes and write functional design documents (FDDs).
• Support month-end and year-end close for AR and AP subledgers and reconcile differences with the GL.
• Develop and maintain X++ extensions, build SSRS and ER reports, create data entities and configure workflows, security roles and duties.
• Manage code in Azure DevOps and deploy across Dev, UAT and Production via Lifecycle Services or the Power Platform admin center.
• Implement Copilot features, build custom AI agents with Copilot Studio and Azure AI Foundry, and automate AR/AP tasks with Power Automate and AI Builder.
• Integrate D365 F&O with D365 CRM and custom applications via dual-write, virtual entities, Dataverse, OData, Logic Apps and Service Bus, and expose data to Power BI and Microsoft Fabric.
• Provide L2/L3 support, run unit, integration, regression and UAT tests, assess service updates, train users and write user guides and SOPs.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Computer Science or Information Systems; a finance/accounting background combined with development skills is strongly preferred.
• 5-8 years with Dynamics 365 F&O or Dynamics AX 2012, including at least 2 full-cycle implementations or major upgrades.
• Proven hands-on delivery in AR and AP, not configuration only.
• At least 3 years of X++ development and extension work.
• Delivered at least one integration between F&O and D365 CRM or another external system.
• Government, semi-government or chamber-of-commerce experience in the GCC is an advantage.
