Telecom Technician for Oil & Gas Facilities

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Telecom Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot telecom systems across our oil and gas facilities in Abu Dhabi. You will work on‑site, ensuring reliable communication infrastructure for critical operations.

Key responsibilities

• Install, terminate and test fiber optic and copper cables.
• Maintain CCTV, PAGA, telephone, radio, LAN/WAN, access control and structured cabling systems.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance, loop checks, signal testing and system commissioning.
• Read and interpret telecom drawings, schematics and layouts.
• Coordinate with engineers and supervisors during shutdowns and project phases.

Required profile

• Diploma/ITI/Technical certification in Electronics, Telecommunications, Electrical & Electronics, Instrumentation or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience on on‑shore oil & gas, refinery or petrochemical projects.
• Familiarity with industrial telecom systems and hazardous area environments.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to work under pressure.
