Teleconsultation Pharmacist

About the role

The Teleconsultation Pharmacist will deliver pharmaceutical care remotely, conducting virtual consultations with patients in Abu Dhabi and across the UAE. This role ensures medication safety and optimal therapy outcomes while adhering to telemedicine regulations and professional standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations to evaluate and address patients' medication‑related needs using evidence‑based, patient‑centered approaches.
• Provide professional advice on prescription medicines, over‑the‑counter drugs and general health inquiries.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care through effective communication and documentation.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Manager, including compliance with company ethics and quality management processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Pharmacy degree from an accredited institution.
• Valid pharmacist license in the UAE.
• Prior experience in telehealth or teleconsultation is desirable.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in Arabic and English.
• Ability to adapt to and embrace new technologies and virtual platforms.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.
• Familiarity with Human Resource Management System (HRMS) platforms.
• Experience using Data Management System (DMS) tools.
