Telemarketing Executive – Inbound & Outbound Sales

About the role

The Telemarketing Executive will handle both inbound web‑based enquiries and outbound calls to generate sales for Cigna Healthcare. Working under the Telesales Manager, you will guide customers through eligibility, plan benefits and policy terms, aiming to close sales while ensuring a smooth, compliant process.

Key responsibilities

• Respond to all inbound and internet enquiries, striving for first‑call resolution.
• Achieve and exceed sales targets set by management.
• Maintain regular communication with members and internal teams.
• Meet productivity, quality and regulatory standards.
• Sell with integrity, treating customers fairly.
• Collaborate with client management, medical staff and other colleagues to resolve issues.
• Maintain accurate records and files.
• Support less experienced team members and contribute to team objectives.
• Identify process improvements and recommend changes.
• Perform ad‑hoc tasks as required.

Required profile

• Strong customer focus with problem‑solving ability.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Good judgement, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Basic system navigation and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Regulatory awareness and a proven track record in telemarketing insurance sales (inbound and outbound).
• 1–2 years of experience in the health or insurance sector.
